Alice Driver has spent the past
three years reporting on workers
at the largest meatpacking
company in the US, who are
grieving loved ones lost to COVID
and struggling to pay medical
bills. Her book, The Life and
Death of the American Worker
(Astra House) about their fight for
justice from their employer, will
be published in 2024.
